SalsaWeb is the next generation of the site I started in November 1996. Originally named the Los Angeles Salsa Scene Website, it was home to everything that was happening in Los Angeles. It quickly became the leading resource site for information about the Salsa Scene.

In May of 1997, I partnered with Edie Lewis, known as the Salsa Freak, and expanded the resource site to a full fledged on-line magazine. Edie's non-stop authoring and "in-your-face" reporting and commentary made this site a place for people to visit often to see what antics she and the rest of us where up to.

Still a hobby for us, the two of us spend over 30 hours a week working on this site. Up until recently we were drowning in Cityguides updates, new interviews, submitted articles and tons of fan mail. Finally we have found other internet savvy salsa/mambo dancing enthusiasts to share in our magazine.

Together we have, and will continue to create a truly virtual on-line Magazine, that changes  hourly, with resource guides for cities throughout the world.
