Washington, DC is a not so small salsa community, there's a lot of activity and disposition.  There's a lot interest from people wanting to expand the music, from promoters trying to create business and from people that want to teach how to dance salsa.  These people wanting to teach how to dance salsa are also promoting the music; they deserve credit for doing what they do.   So the following is a list of instructors and promoters:
