Edie's Daily Report
Today Jerry taught a spins and techniques class, and I taught an advanced Ladies Styling Class.  They were both pretty fun... I picked up a few teaching techniques from Jerry, who is a world-class spinner!  He's a great instructor as well.  I really have a lot of respect for his enthusiasm, and professional attitude.

The rest of the day was spent relaxing by the pool, hanging out with friends at the beach, and SLEEPING!!! Getting ready for tonight's Salsa concert!

BUT, BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE, some of us were there to witness and INCREDIBLE thing.  Muriel Horvers, Salsaweb's World Correspondent for the island of Curacao SAVED A LITTLE BOY'S LIFE today after he almost drowned in the pool!  She saw hiim being drug out of the water by these women who were screaming frantically.  Muriel pushed them all aside, and immediately began giving him CPR treatment.  "I could feel his little heart start beating again very strong.  His mouth started foaming with water, and suddenly he started coughing.  I was in such a state of shock myself, I just got my things and walked away."

CONGRATULATIONS TO MURIEL HORVERS FOR SAVING THIS LITTLE BOY'S LIFE,
AND CHANGING THE COURSE OF HISTORY!!!

Albert Torres finally made it to the island!   We saw him at the Salsa Festival.  Gilberto Santa Rosa and Oscar De Leon were the highlights of the evening.  They were absolutely incredible!!  As usual, Oscar has more energy than anyone I’ve ever seen in concert – EVER!  He sings nonstop! He just keeps going, and going, and going… like the Energizer Rabbit!

The dancers found a more flat area to dance near the back of the stadium.  We danced so hard most of the evening, the latter portion of the evening was showing each other moves and different techniques.  It’s these times you want to take advantage of. Whether you’re a true student or a seasoned instructor, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear!
