Dancing in the streets of Pietermaai, a
part of our downtown. This local event is a copy of the renowned
"Calle 8" of Miami, Florida. There will be great live-music, dance
shows and local food.
A great way to taste the local atmosphere.

Edie's Daily
Report
Today, I slept
in. It was great being
able to do that for a change.
My dance partner, Jerry Bakhchyan and I had lunch at the
beach bar, where we met a gentleman from Australia who just arrived
here from working in Tel Aviv Israel for a year or so He knows Paco, our World
Cityguide Correspondent from Israel! He told us that there will
be more people coming from Israel later on this week!
Jerry and I taught an intermediate
Salsa “LA Style” class at noon. Afterward, I updated the
website for a while. We
bought some groceries at the local food mart and are simply relaxing
right now. Many
Salseros from all over the world have now arrived.
Tonight was Calle “9” night. There was dancing on the
streets, much like Calle Ocho in Miami. Later, everyone headed to
the Salsipuedes dance studio to finish up the night with Salsa,
Salsa, and more Salsa!!! It is so
relaxing here... I can’t wait for tomorrow!
