| "Contra La Corriente" is an extremely well produced CD with a variety of rhythms and styles. It combines powerful vocals with dance music you can feel in your soul. The opening track, "Y Hubo Alguien" is a beautiful salsa ballad which masterfully displays Marc’s incredible vocal talent. It is the perfect tune to open this CD. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to belt it out with Marc. In the same vein, "Me Voy a Regalar" is a tune which also manages to combine powerful vocals with a great dance track. Other highlights of the CD include, ""Si Te Vas," a catchy dance tune that I think dancers will love. I predict this one will top the charts. "No Me Conoces" is a really interesting pop/bachata which starts as an acoustic guitar ballad (with some sax) and turns into a bachata you can cha cha to. "Suceden" is a true ballad and also demonstrates Marc’s beautiful voice. The final track on the CD, "Un Mal Sueno" is really different. It’s kind of a Cha Cha Rock. This CD is a must for all Latin music affecionados. It is clear that Marc Anthony has a style all his own and it has really matured by this, his third, salsa CD.
