Harlow Times

Well salseros...just back from Puerto Rico , where Darvel Garcia, Adalberto Santiago and I did 6 grueling days and nights of promotion with Jochi Davila , the super promotion person for the Fania family of labels....We went to radio and TV stations in Ponce, Mayaguez,  Fajardo, El Yunque, Vega Baja, Carolina, Manati, Santurce, Guaynabo, Caguas, and San Juan as well as interviews at San Juan Star, El Nuevo Dia with Jaime Torres, El Vocero and the Primera Hora. Also channel 11's A Fuego TV show....We left the hotel at 6;30 am each day to get on the 7-9 morning radio shows at Salsoul and Z-93.....The week before I was in Miami doing promotion with Ray Aviles, a long time friend and Fania Executive who was helping me even though he is retired..Thanks Ray for all the help, as well as my brother Andy Harlow who drove me around the Miami Area...The gang at WDNA-FM was great and played the whole CD and I will give them a few extras to give as awards to their subscribers...Radio ZOL and CMQ were just Great as well as Radio Tropical..Thank you all....Now for the future...I will be returning to Puerto Rico next week, after the Copacabana show with Orq. Reve from Cuba on May 12th at 9PM, to film our music Video with Darvel, Ismael, Adalberto and Emo . My documentary is getting some changes , such as a new title and the lawyers are finalizing the paperwork for Tropical Visions Entertainment Group in San Juan and New York......The documentary should air in August ..May 17th the Latin Legendswill perform in Mayaguez for the first anneversary of Z-95 Radio...along with Pete Conde Rodriguez, Cachete maldonado, Guagua and Nicky Marrero., The Gran Combo, Cano Estramera and others...On the 29 and 30 of May I will Be at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan along with Junior Gonzalez, Nestor Sanchez and Justo Betancourt opposite Ray Barretto and Tito Allen.

I will also be in Medellin Colombia , by myself to start writing my official Biogaphy with writer Sergio Fernandez, who also did the biography's of Bob Marley and Ruben Blades from May 24th thru 28th.......The month of June is devoted to rehearsals and getting everyone into New York to practice, Play at the Copa on the 16 and leave the 18th of June for the beginning of the LARRY HARLOW'S LATIN LEGENDS EUROPEAN TOUR 1998........I just ordered  100 RED tour jackets for our group, promotion staff and all the DJ's who play our music....The following is the tentatine schedule of our tour.
