Naples:
Well it was a really quiet day...took a nap and was wakened up by a call from Wendy who
informed me she thinks it best to pass on meeting me in Italy in 2 weeks time. I agreed with
her and we will use the money towards our dream vacation in the Galapagos islands in
September…was just informed that we will go to Munich for a gig Saturday eve.
We need a trumpet player from Munich and trombone from Italy and will do a gig with
Adalberto and Emo with Alfredo, Fajardo and Igor the singer from Medellin Colombia for a weak
price. This gig covers the band and hotels and bus and diet for all...tonight we go to Alfredo's
for a dinner he cooked for Fajardo, Joey, and, me and the local crew. The food was great...we
drank good Italian wine and listened to Jose Fajardo's stories of Cuba and Fidel
Castro…laughed and told jokes and took a cab back to the hotel. We totally missed the
celebration going on at the Piazza. Tomorrow, I will get to the music store to buy a case for the
AX1 keyboard. Goodnight.
