Naina's Story...

Hi! my name is Naina. I am a Tanzanian of Asian origin. I always
liked Latin music - it really used to make me click my fingers -
but alas! I never knew how to dance salsa.

Well, I discovered Dick and Saskia, the Dutch couple who
conducted Salsa classes here in Dar es Salaam for a minimal fee.
I jumped at the idea - a fear always gnawing at me that I will
probably make a fool of me and can never dance like the shows I
see on TVs.

After five months (once a week class) of vigorous training - the
day came when I could dance with my instructor at Salsateca
(Latin disco dance)very professionally and people clapping at the
end - that was my achievement.

I have never been happier in my life as now that I know how to
Salsa. It has changed my life and now no longer I click my
fingers to the Latin music - instead I sway my hips to the rhythm
of montuno, merengue or salsa....

I am very happy and satisfied and You? If you are thinking to
doing it - go ahead - don't even hesitate - It is a wonderful
experience and at least at the disco, I don't have to sit out the
Latin music but dance with my partner, even if he does not know
it and also there is no age group

So, Enjoy - - be happy
