At last, the Salsa Brava dance company made an instructional video!

As a group, each team member volunteered their time and talents to create a quality instructional video with world-class dance performances and professional instruction by the dance team members themselves!  

  When they first started the company back in 1996, Luis and Joby Vazquez, and Janette Valenzuela had no idea just how popular the Salsa Brava dance company would become, and how much in demand they would be worldwide.  The time, effort, and expense of running a professional dance company were becoming insurmountable.  Travel expenses, costumes, shoes, promotional material, and administration were becoming more and more expensive every year. The team was growing; more income was coming in, but it seemed twice as much was going out. 

  “I have an amazing idea!”  I raised my hand in excitement at a group meeting one night.  “Each one of us knows a few ‘cool moves’, right?  As a team, we can each demonstrate our own turn patterns and shines, and put them in a team video!”  The team unanimously agreed that we should start on this right away.

  The camera crew decided to map out our “intro shot” with a trip to the world famous Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, California.  Half of us met at my house, and the others met the rest of us near the site.  “Be make-up and wardrobe ready BEFORE you get there!” Joby told everyone the night before.
